3.1. The non-competitive exhibits are classified in the following Classes:
A1. Court of Honour – Exhibits of great philatelic importance
A2. Other invited exhibits
The competitive exhibits are classified in the following Classes:

- Class 2 Traditional Philately
- 2A National
- 2B Europe
- 2C The Rest of the World
- Class 3 Postal History
- 3A National
- 3B Europe
- 3C Rest of the World
- Class 4 Aerophilately
- Class 5 Revenues
- Class 6 Postal Stationery
- Class 7 Thematic Philately
- 7A Nature
- 7B Culture
- 7C Technology
- Class 8 Open Philately
- Class 9 Picture Postcard
- Class 10 Maximaphily
- Class 11 Astrophilately
- Class L Philatelic Literature
- L1 Monographs (published max. 5 years prior to 2025)
- L2 Periodicals (published max. 2 years prior to 2025)
- L3 Digital media
- L4 Catalogues
The organizing committee reserves the right to withdraw any class that only has a low number of entries.
Narrow theme exhibits (1-2-3 frame exhibits) and Modern Philately exhibits are classified in their respective philatelic classes.
When applying to enter the exhibition the exhibitor is invited to nominate the most appropriate class for the exhibit. However, the Organising Committee and the Jury reserve the right to transfer any exhibit from one class to another, always to the benefit of the exhibitor.
IREX
Entry Fees (as stated in the IREX)
The entry fee for five and eight-frame competitive classes will be GBP 95 per frame.
The entry fee for the one-frame competitive class will be GBP 120 per frame.
The entry fee in the Literature Class will be GBP 40 per entry.
Entry fees are not refundable.
Invoices for Frame fees will be sent by the Commissioner General to National Commissioners with the list of accepted entries. Payment must be made within 30 days of the invoice being sent.
